Eliza Wren Payne tells us how she came to England from her native Utah as a stranger in a strange land, with nothing but a traveling guitar and a credit card to her name. She taught herself how to compose and play the guitar, practicing by playing to travellers on London’s Tube network and bagging the more formalised busking gigs in the tunnels. Now married to a Brit, Eliza’s journey continues as she regularly gigs in venues across London and England and somewhere along the way she lost her Mormon faith.
